Urgent Food Needed

We are reaching out to you during a challenging time as we face significant struggles in securing food for our residents. Currently, we provide shelter and care for approximately 30 individuals in need, including survivors of domestic violence and those facing extreme hardship. With winter fast approaching, the need for nutritious meals is more urgent than ever.
As a completely self-funded organization, the rising cost of food has made it increasingly difficult to sustain our efforts. Our staple foods—maize meal and bread—have become costly, and while we bake our own bread daily to cut costs, we are still struggling to meet the demand.
Providing our residents with nourishing meals is not just about sustenance—it is a vital part of restoring their health, dignity, and hope. Many arrive malnourished, and the simple gift of a warm, balanced meal makes a profound difference in their lives.
We humbly ask for your support in helping us continue this mission. Every donation, no matter how small, helps us ensure that no one in our care goes hungry.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your support truly changes lives.

Church Upgrade

We are excited to share that our church is now officially established—a milestone we could not have reached without your continued support. As we grow, we are now facing an urgent need: installing ceilings in our church building.
The intense heat during the African summer months has made it extremely difficult to use the church for worship. At times, the conditions are simply too harsh for our congregation to gather comfortably. Beyond serving as a place of worship, the church also functions as a classroom for our preschool children, who are especially vulnerable to the heat.
While our residents and congregation have shown incredible resilience, their discomfort is evident, and we are committed to improving their experience. Installing proper ceilings will help regulate the temperature and make the space usable year-round—for worship, learning, and community support.
We humbly ask for your assistance in making this possible. Your generous hearts have carried us through so much already, and we remain deeply grateful for every contribution.
Thank you, as always, for your unwavering support. May God continue to bless each of you, just as He continues to bless our community through your kindness.

Septic Tank & Generator

We are currently facing some urgent challenges and are reaching out to ask for your support.
Due to ongoing heavy rains—a seasonal challenge we face each year—we are in desperate need of a generator capable of charging our solar batteries. With limited sunlight, our current solar setup is unable to meet essential power demands. This has made it extremely difficult to keep our refrigeration systems operational, putting our food supplies at risk. As you can imagine, preserving food is critical to the wellbeing of our residents, and this has become an ongoing struggle.
Additionally, we are in urgent need of a new septic tank. As winter approaches, we typically see an increase in individuals seeking shelter from the cold. This additional demand places a heavy strain on our existing septic system, which is already operating at capacity. Installing a second septic tank is essential to ensure safe and sanitary living conditions for all who rely on us.
We are committed to serving this community, but we cannot do it alone. Your support enables us to continue providing a safe, healthy, and dignified environment for those in need. Please consider making a donation—every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference.

New Cabin & Upgrade

We hope this message finds you well. It is with heavy hearts that we share some difficult news—one of our four-sleeper cabins was recently lost in a fire. This cabin was a vital part of our facility, providing a safe haven for up to four women in crisis. We are deeply saddened by this loss and are reaching out for your support as we work to rebuild.

In addition, we are currently facing several urgent infrastructure needs. As we operate off the grid, we require a 120-meter electrical cable to connect our solar unit to the water pump, which would significantly reduce our reliance on fuel-powered generators. We also need to install a new septic tank to accommodate our growing number of residents.

Our project has grown beyond initial expectations, and in order to continue providing effective care, we must make critical upgrades. These include the construction of a smaller cabin to serve as an infirmary for basic medical needs, along with the acquisition of essential medical supplies and fire extinguishers.

Our vehicle, a key asset for transportation and daily operations, is also in need of immediate attention. We require a new battery, routine maintenance, new tires, and a replacement windscreen due to damage sustained on rough farm roads.

Your continued support makes all the difference. Without your generosity, we would not be able to serve this community that is so close to our hearts. From all of us, thank you—and may you be richly blessed for the compassion and care you continue to show.
