My family and I came to the SAFRP Farm Project broken and destitute. After 3 years I have learned Kitchen skills and became the Kitchen manager. It is my passion to make delicious meals and also teach the new ladies how to cook and serve people properly. SAFRP holds a very high standard of meals prep and good nutritional food that is prepared daily under my supervision. My duties include making sure that all the ladies wear appropriate attire, and that the kitchen is sanitized and clean. It is also my responsibility to count all the Kitchen stock once a month and to report any problems pertaining to the Kitchen to our Matron.
I am also responsible for drawing up a weekly menu and shift roster together with Matron.
I finished my courses on first aid – BLS, ACLS and PALS
I am responsible for making sure that the emergency medical kit is complete, and the register is up to date.
SAFRP is the family community in which I have found safety, security and spiritual growth not only for myself but also for my family and my children.
