I was educated at a technical school John Voster and finished my matric. I went to the military as a military policeman. I finished my service and started working as a Maintenance Fitter. I worked for SA Breweries, Consol Glass, Hullets Sugar Mills. My wife and I started the SAFRP organization and together we have built a farm project where we take in destitute folks. It is my job to make sure that the entire property is kept up.
I teach the men basic skills like plumbing, building, woodwork and steel work. It is also my responsibility to make sure that everyone on the property lives in a safe environment and that all is protected. I am also responsible for making sure that all the vehicles and tools are kept in good condition and accounted for.
As an only child SAFRP has taught me that family is important and that you need not share DNA to be a family. These people look up to me and it is a pleasure to teach and provide for them.
