Hi everyone this is Branden, Brian en Juan-Pierre Coetzee. Their mommy took her life in March a month ago. They live at our Twini shelter in Port Shepstone KwaZulu Natal. They were in need of food and SAFRP sent food to the children. Martie and Pastor Freddie are giving these angels all the love and care but they need help. As you all know food is an Emergency for all the organizations and we are not coping. Should anyone want to drop off food for these children please contact Martie on 0746548421. If you would like to donate funds to these children please use the reff: Twini Kids. They are beautiful happy children. Thank you to all our Angel donors. Leigh xx

Hi Everyone, Thank you to the donors that have come forward with helping to donate rent money, clothing, etc towards the Butler Family in Eastlynn Pretoria. The other people living on the premises, in the adjoining rooms, are becoming increasingly unpleasant towards the Butler family because SAFRP are helping this family. Unfortunately, this is rather common, as we have a set criteria that we have to assess which families we are able to assist that fit our criteria. We urgently need a small fridge freezer and a microwave oven for the family, so that they can refrigerate their food and prevent spoilage. If you have a fridge freezer and/or microwave oven to donate please inbox SAFRP or e-mail office.safrp@gmail.com For financial donations: Account name: South African Family Relief Project Bank: First National Bank Account number: 6253 480 1651 Branch code: 260 23 100 Account type: Transmission/Cheque Swift Code: FIRNZAJJ Reference: Butler Family Pta Please send proof of payment to office.safrp@gmail.com Every donation makes a difference. We want to send out a Big Thank you to an anonymous donor that made a financial contribution towards the Butler Family, to cover their rent for the next month. We notified the Butler family immediately when we received proof of payment. The mother was overwhelmed and couldn't believe that there are genuine, caring people that helped them with their rent money. The reason is, that they started to lose trust and faith in people, in humanity because they had approached several other organisations and were turned away due to no funds. It feels so good to know that with the help of our donors that we can help people, help families with their children, give them hope and something tangible that says "There are people out their that Care about you, that care about your family"...because we received the donation and we as SAFRP will pay your rent on your behalf because of this generous donor. The only request that the anonymous donor had was to attach a message to give to the family that says, "Please find attached proof of payment to aid the Butler Family. I saw your post on FB today and The Lord laid it upon my heart to give of my tithes to this family. I pray that this will be the beginning of many more blessings to flow their way. It is very important to me that they give thanks to God, and Him alone for this contribution – as this is not my money, but that which I have promised to Him. And if He hadn’t spoken to my heart, I wouldn’t have paid this, I am simply His vessel." Thank you for the support and donation. It has saved this family and restored their faith. SAFRP Team

Hi Everyone, We need some urgent help from the public, our members and supporters for a Family in Pretoria. Its a mother, Father and 15month old little girl that are living in a very small room, unemployed with virtually no belongings. They cannot pay their rent of R2500 this month and they have nowhere to go. A colleague and I went to do a home assessment at this family's one bedroom living space. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and guided towards their room that they call home along a dusty pathway with rubble from broken building materials along the way. We reach their front door of their tiny room and as we enter we see an old bed that has seen better years, that has two worn blankets neatly folded on the corner of it, and it’s resting on a cement floor. There is a camp cot with a little brown teddy, everything is neat and clean. We take a seat on their little bed and on the floor to talk to them. They are well spoken and take pride in the little they have left. I glance past them and see the dull grey walls and notice the only little narrow window in the corner of the room, by the door that has been adorned with a colourful piece of fabric. Their little angel keeps smiling and gurgling while we talk to her parents. One can feel the love they share for each other. In the one end of the room is a cupboard with no doors, its made up of differing sizes of planks that have been tied together with rope, so that they have something to put the few items they still have on it. There is no radio or TV, they have no fridge, stove or microwave…they really have nothing. There is a flat material red suitcase standing up against the wall that has all three their clothing in it, also neatly packed and clean. There is a flat material red suitcase standing up against the wall that has all three their clothing in it, also neatly packed and clean. They tell us how they moved up to Pretoria for a job opportunity but when they arrived were notified that the position is no longer available and so they have been unemployed for two months, having resorted to live the way they have been living. They are humble people that are warm and friendly, even though they are in this position they still smile when they speak to us asking us to help them. My colleague Dyanne and I left the family with a food parcel when we saw that there wasn’t even enough food for that evening. Their eyes filled with tears as they didn’t believe that anyone would actually help them as they had been trying to find help for so long. That is why we are placing this post up, asking everyone to please help with what you can. We really want to help this little family and need your support to do this. If we can all contribute just a little…it goes a long way. For any goods donations please inbox or email Audrey at office.safrp@gmail.com. South Africa achieves a Happy Planet Index Score of 28.2 and ranks #142 of all the countries analysed. South Africa's HPI score reflects a low life expectancy, low levels of experienced well-being, and a moderate ecological footprint. We at SAFRP try our level best to uplift, assist and care for the well-being of impoverished and destitute families on the streets, in camps and settlements by providing services, giving food and clothing. The greatest reward seeing hope in their eyes, tears of gratitute and a smile that says "Someone really cares about me and my family". They say that actions speak a thousand words. What should we as a society, as an individual or family in your community do to improve the well-being of the community? Thank you to Derrick Stubbs from the Lions Club for going the extra mile to help Christine and her family with a Food Parcel. Its great to know that there are organisations like ours that care and that really want to make a difference by actually doing something to help those that cannot help themselves due to poverty, circumstance and lack of opportunity. Thank You SAFRP Team

Thank you to our Donors Liezel Aucamp, Valda Pretorius, Linda Larsen, Lisa Richmond, Marcel du Preez and Marcelle du Plessis for donating clothing and items in Durban for the camps we assist. Thank you to our volunteer Anthony Symes for making it possible to get the donations to the families in need. Every donation makes a difference. SAFRP Team

Because of all the negative comments the Witbank camp has asked me to remove all the photos. They are upset that they who did nobody any harm had to be attacked. I am disgusted at all the negativity and so sad that their feelings were hurt. We work so darn hard but it seems that no matter what good we try to do we get kicked in the face! My heart is broken for these wonderful ladies who do NOT deserve the treatment they got! I apologise for the treatment you got. Thank you to those who are on this page to do good and not sit on the sidelines waiting.....praying...... that we make a mistake in order to beat us and the people we serve down! If one cannot make a possitive contrebution and only critisize please leave this group. Thank you. Leigh
