Hi everyone, as you know winter is 3 months away. Winter times are the worst in the camps because food is non existent. We are desperately in need of non perishable foods. People donate lots of clothing but food is a crisis every year. Please go to our website www.safrpsa.org and donate what ever you can. We will be doing feeding days at the camps but without food it will be impossible for us to do. Thank you so much to everyone.
Fence cut again! This has become ridiculous and very scary. We are checking the fence twice a day. We are fixing the fecnce with what wire we have left and running out. Everyone has come up with great ideas but being January living in South Africa and in a rural area and reliant on donations, we are pretty much stuck on our own. We have not been sleeping and it is taking it's toll on us all. The men have been doing patrols and sitting up to catch the culprit. Catching up on sleep is close to impossible because of the 37 degree heat. We have no area security that we can call. I don't know what to do......
They tried to steal our goats, cut the fencing and the goats pen, someone also stabbed holes in our tanks water pipe. Scary times.
