This morning we went to the memorial service of Fanie - Stefanus Diederick Myburgh. It was very emotional but beautiful and we were reminded by the Minister that God sent down his only Son to die on the cross for ALL our sins past, present and future. We may not judge. Fanie was a soft humble man and he will be missed. I received a letter from his family - Dear Leigh and SAFRP Melanie would like to thank you and SAFRP for your wonderful gift in making sure that the funds was available for the funeral. I was in great shock and did not know how we would ever be able to afford his funeral. You stepped up and got donations for his memorial and my family and I will never be able to thank you enough for what you did. Thank you for the catering you did after the service and thank you for all the love and compassion you continuously give to all the people in the camp, From a very grateful family, Melanie Myburgh and children.

This is with great sadness we wish to announce the passing of Stefanus Diederick Myburgh he was a resident of Winklespruit caravan park. All he wanted to do was support his family. Do we understand how hard it is when you are destitute when life seems hopeless. In the early hours of this morning it all became to much for for Fanie he went outside their shack to the back. He tied a rope to the tree put the noose around his neck and hung himself, my heart is broken how can we as a society allow this to happen. These less fortunate folk need our help the family cant even afford to bury him. To the family from all of us at Safrp our sincerest condolences. Psalm 82. From me Fanie goodbye my old friend till we meet again. Anthony Patrick Symes V0003.
