We just want to give a very big thank you to Vanessa and her hubby that made up hampers for our babies and the folks on our Farm Project. They also brought some clothing and meat and cheese for us to braai. Thank you very much for your kindness. God bless you and your family.
Thank you to Wendy and her hubby that donated a cabin to our project. The cabin was put up and the men put in ceilings and wall boards and painted the room for a 15 year old teenager that was rescued. She is ecstatic to have her own space. This is what it's about. Giving to our folks who need. Thank you so much for your support.
Our men are busy with the new kitchen area on our Farm Project. This will be a bigger space for the ladies to cook meals but also give Marius and Leigh more privacy as they have been sharing their space with everyone. We are in need of 30 bags of cement and 5 qubes of concrete mix. Each bag of cement is around R70 per bag = R2400 and the concrete mix for 5 qubes is R2060 total cost for the floor is R 4460.00 Please donate to our cause and specify "Kitchen floor" in the reference space. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our Farm Project.
We want to give a very big thank you to Aaron's Rock Your Socks Off who donated much needed socks and Robert Engels and his donors who donated 250 warm blankets to the folks at Munsieville, Sonskyn and the SAFRP Farm Project. It has been very cold and everyone was so thankful to get this donation. Thank you to everyone.
It is so difficult to know that there is always someone out there who does not have food. At least these folks will eat tonight.
Hi everyone, Leigh and her hubby Marius went to Munsieville today to deliver some clothes and food. It was not nearly enough to give to everyone. Leigh was very emotional to see the condition of the children. Every parent does the best they can. I cannot imagine having to struggle like that every day.
We would like to say a big thank you to Lesley Walsh and her beautiful daughters who drove all the way to the farm to come and visit us and see what we do. Thank you very much for your donation of children's clothing, food goodies etc. It means so much to us xx
We want to welcome Jonty, Natasha & 1 year old Zeagén Coetzee. This couple had no where to go and was going to live in their car when they found us. We took them in today and they have settled in nicely into their house. They are so grateful. Tonight they will have a nice hot meal, warm shower and a warm bed to sleep in. We pray that they find peace and know that they are loved and that the sky is the limit with regards to their future. Work hard and stay positive.
Hi everyone, this is our Farm Project. It is bitter cold here today. Clouds are building and it would seem that we will be getting some winter rains. We pray that families that are on the street will have some warmth. Thank you Lord for all our blessings. Thank you so much for your support to everyone.
Hi everyone - let me start by saying that I know things are tough out there, but I am going to make a plea anyway. As a SAFRP volunteer, I help feed a few destitute families in the Roodepoort/West Rand area, when I am able to. My care packages are looking very bleak, mostly pap and pasta, please if anyone in the area is willing to donate some packet soups, tins or even soya mince it would make such a huge difference in these families lives, some of which have small children. A thick soup or stew will go far in this cold weather. You are welcome to contact me on 071-355-5228 or email: ela@radost.co.za. Thank you and God Bless.
