We had thieves cut our fence and they stole our trailer!!!! They then cut our neighbors fence and pushed the trailer into the long grass where they had time to remove the two wheels, the spare and the axle. The Hammanskraal police responded quickly and they where so respectful and helped where they could. They also went with us to inform our neighbors of their fence damage. The men then pulled the leftover top part back. Thank goodness everyone and our animals are safe.
We will be having our very first Farm Project wedding on the 27th of April 2019. Jonty and Natasha has decided to tie the knot. We are so excited to be part of this wonderful occasion. We would like to give a huge thank you to Riana Roux from Jolly Castle and events who is sponsoring tables, table center pieces, cutlery etc. Thank you to Wendy Engelbrecht for making the desert, to Amor Gerber and Helga for sponsoring the Honeymoon. To Sunel who sponsored Natasha's dress and accessories. To everyone on the farm project who is working so hard to make it beautiful. We hope that this day will be special to you.
Our men are doing backbreaking work to mix cement and put in a water drainage pype today. So amazing that they work with so much enthusiasm. My hubby Marius showing them how to mix properly even after he sustained 3 degree burns on his hand. You are such an amazing example to these men.
We just want to thank Johan and Hannelie from Higher Purpose Project for giving our teenage girls the opportunity to go to this camp fully sponsored at Eksderde Camps Pretoria. We just went and dropped off our 10 teenage girls and it was giggles all the way there. We hope you have an amazing time.
Our cow Annabelle and her calf has picked up weight from when we where blessed with them and are looking beautiful. They are eating well and Annabelle gives us around 6 liters of milk every day. So thankful and the folks on our Farm Project fight over the milk. There is nothing like freshly baked farm bread, fresh farm milk and eggs from our chickens.
Today I tought our ladies how to make plant pots out of old towels and cement. This is something inexpensive to make from home that one can sell to support your family. It is also a fun craft to do. We will show you when it has dried and then painting can begin.
