Hi everyone, we have a very bad bug at our Farm Project and everyone is very ill with severe diarrhea, flu symptoms and high fever. Leigh and Marius is also very ill and Leigh has a bad chest infection as well. We have arranged for the mobile clinic to go and help the folks on the farm with meds. We ask that you all pray for them ad this is a very nasty bug and HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS. We have heard that some of the other camps have also had outbreaks. We pray for a speedy recovery for everyone.
Hi everyone, because we struggle with funding and the fact that we run everything on gas to cook and heat up water, the men on our Farm Project took an old geyser and transformed it into a water heating system in order to have hot running water when we do run out of gas. We call this a "donkey" and wow it works like a charm!! It is so amazing how one can do so much when you think and put your mind to find a solution. So proud of you all.
Update: We have amazing news!! Thanks to all the folks who donated towards closing the dining area on our Farm Project we where able to buy all the sheets. If many people can only sponsor one or two sheets it will make it easier. Each sheet of 6 meters is R231 please can anyone help? Please contact Leigh on 0727388101.

Hi everyone. Update on the families. We took in another two families last night. Both families got lost on their way to us and we had to drive at 10 and just after two in the morning to fetch them. They are all safe and resting today. They all had a warm bed to sleep in and a good breakfast this morning. We will post a list of their immediate needs later today. We would like to give a special thank you to Monica Hugget from Living Waters Foundation and Debra Massey for helping to get them to safety.

Hi everyone, we have a family of 5 including a small baby in Pinetown that needs to be rescued asap. The family has a vehicle and we do have space to take them in but they have no petrol to get to Pretoria. Is there perhaps anyone in the Pinetown area that can help this family with fuel. Please contact Leigh on 0727388101 urgently as this family had no place to go to.
