The men managed to fix the our generator, we had to replace some parts. When we started the generator the pump kept on shorting out. The men had to pull the borehole pump only to find that a seal had perished and it burned out the motor!! We had to replace the motor costing R4270,31. We are on our way back to the farm to put the new motor on and then sink the pump back into the borehole before dark.

Our generator broke and we are not able to pump water into our tank. We have NO water for our 24 residents and animals. We delivered a donation to Sonskyn camp. Every child received a warm blanket, tekkies or school shoes, formula and nappies for the babies and a pregnancy pack for the pregnant moms. The teenagers each got a pair of school shoes, toiletries and a blanket.
Congratulations to Sebastian for passing your term above the class average. This little boy did so well even after he had missed school due to his parents being homeless. We are so proud of you sweetheart. Even with all the challenges you had to face at such a young age you excelled.So proud of you hunny. Keep up the good work.
These are the plates of food we make everyday. The first in purple plates are the children and the next the adults. Tonight our folks got Coleslaw, Rice, Pumpkin and Beef stew for supper.
