Good day all you beautiful people – have you considered that when you sit down to your delicious Christmas lunches this year, surrounded by your loving family and friends, that there are people out there that Christmas day for them is just another day of struggle? No special foods and at times no food at all, no presents and some have little if no family to share Christmas with. Men, women and children are living in the camps, streets and in tiny back rooms with little hope for a ‘Festive’ season. So we would like to do a food drive for the various people in need – please if you are able to donate even 1 tin or packet of some sort of food item it would be highly appreciated. I have attached list of ‘suggestions’. We will make up Christmas hampers with the donations and distribute them. There is a drop off point in Roodepoort and one in Northriding. Please let us know if you can help – remember your generosity touches and changes lives in the most amazing way so please open your hearts this Christmas.

Hard work being done in the kitchen today. The ladies are making bottled curry bean preserves and chilly sause. These folks are so awesome! Leighxx
Our ducklings are getting big and they love swimming and bathing in the pond. It is so peaceful here. We bought 13 ducks and today we have 28! Leighxx

Our tomatoes onion and green peppers are doing great. Leighxx
The vegetable off cuts goes to the worms and they produce worm pee and wonderful compost for the garden and veggies. Leighxx
We where given an old swimmingpool pump that was cracked. My hubby Marius fixed it and now we can empty the duck pond water onto the newly planted grass. Nothing goes to waist. Leighxx
Our bunny rabbits are happy. We had to put in a floor because they dug tunnels out of the cage ( yes we are still learning lol) they love carrots lettuce and spinich. Leighxx
We would like to thank Amor Gerber and everyone at Miljoen Stemme for Steve who blessed us with the baby chickens. We have had them for one week and they have grown and are so happy. Thank you so much. Leighxx

We would like to thank an amazing donor who came to visit us on the farm and saw that we suffer in the heat. She said she wmhad to go somewhere and would be back. After a while she came back with a huge box. It was a pool!! She let us set it up and we had the wonderful pleasure to cool off and oh wow it was amazing! To us this is huge! Thank you so much to you. You do not want the praise but we just had to thank you from the bottom of our heart. Leighxx
The grass that was donated is starting to go green. It is starting to look so beautiful. Need to get allot more but we are getting there. Thank you to everyone who supports our cause. Leighxx
